CARAD is a not-for-profit organisation enabling refugees and people seeking asylum to live with dignity. We provide essential needs, advocacy and welfare support services to people seeking humanitarian protection in Western Australia. CARAD envisions a welcoming Australia where refugees and people seeking asylum can rebuild their lives and are treated with compassion and respect.
CARAD Services
CARAD is an independent, community-based organisation providing specialised welfare and advocacy assistance to asylum seekers, refugees and detainees in Western Australia.
Since opening its doors in 2000, CARAD has provided support to over 5,000 refugees, people seeking asylum and detainees fleeing persecution through our Client Services and Volunteer Programs.

For many people seeking asylum in Western Australia, safety is never guaranteed and CARAD is often their last safety net. They count on us, trusting we'll be there when it matters most. But we can't do it without you.
Every contribution, whatever the size, goes towards making sure people seeking asylum in our WA community have somewhere to turn. All donations $2 or above are tax-deductable.
At CARAD we know the best work happens through community collaboration. Partnering with CARAD means putting compassion into action and positioning your organisation as a champion for positive change for some of our community’s most vulnerable.
