The Centre for Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Detainees (CARAD)
CARAD is a not-for-profit organisation enabling refugees and people seeking asylum to live with dignity. We provide essential needs, advocacy and welfare support services to people seeking humanitarian protection in Western Australia. CARAD envisions a welcoming Australia where refugees and people seeking asylum can rebuild their lives and are treated with compassion and respect.
CARAD Services
CARAD is an independent, community-based organisation providing specialised welfare and advocacy assistance to asylum seekers, refugees and detainees in Western Australia.
Since opening its doors in 2000, CARAD has provided support to over 5000 asylum seekers, refugees and detainees through our Client Services and Volunteer Programs.
‘A place to call home’ campaign
Secure housing is the bedrock of safety, healing and well-being for CARAD clients as they face difficult circumstances. With your generous support, we can meet the crisis accommodation needs of those seeking asylum in Western Australia.
This holiday season, join us in ensuring those seeking protection visas have a place to call home. Even the smallest gift you can make will go a long way in helping CARAD’s clients rebuild their lives.
